Reusable Lid for Nespresso Vertuoline, compatible with all Vertuo Pods
All your pods are refillable with one of these icaffilas lid covers!
The days of overpaying for coffee pods are a thing of the past with these lids! Simply take one of the pods you've already enjoyed the coffee from out of the back of your Vertuo Pro or Next machine and gently cut the existing foil lid off. Discard the used coffee grinds into your food waste bin, compost heap or onto your garden then rinse and dry the pod delicately to avoid denting the aluminum pod.
Fill the pod with around 3 scoops of the included flat bottomed tamper spoon of your choice of delicious, freshly roasted Repodly Coffee ground to "pod grind". Now brush any loose grinds away from the edge and place the lid onto the pod, pushing firmly enough to secure the lid in place but not so hard to indent the lid which will prevent the machine from picking up the pod. The lid should sit roughly level with the top of the pod.
Now pop your pod into the machine and press to make the coffee. A smaller pod will need less ground coffee and it should be possible to roughly gauge how much is required by how strong you enjoy your coffee and how much came out of it.
Remember it is the barcode on the underside of the lip of the pod which will determine how much water is pumped through your pod and into the cup. The start button will stop the flow of coffee if your chosen pod is too big for your needs.
The lid is made of hard wearing and durable polypropylene and will last a considerable number of uses as long as it is properly fitted and not treated roughly.
The images in this listing are supplied by the manufacturer, the use of the word silicone may be a misunderstanding or bad translation. We have been assured that the lids are made of PP.
Polypropylene (PP) is usually considered safe for humans. It is considered the safest of all plastics; it is a robust heat-resistant plastic. Because of its high heat tolerance, it is unlikely to leach even when exposed to warm or hot water. It is approved for use with food and beverage storage. Link Here
